Safety is an ongoing process at HAP. We are constantly integrating technology into our daily operations to provide the best driving practices for our fleet of drivers.

We follow stringent policies and procedures to create a safe work environment for our employees. This includes ongoing training and regular equipment maintenance to prevent avoidable incidents or downtime on the road. We’ve also established a HAP Safety Committee comprised of management and staff members who discuss company-wide health and safety topics and distribute valuable information and resources to our team.

Our 24/7 in-house CVSE CIP Certified repair shop has over 25 fleet mechanics working around the clock to ensure breakdowns are minimized and repairs and inspections are performed at the highest quality level.

Our sustainability model involves the following initiatives:

  • Reducing fuel consumption with limited idle times
  • Regular truck maintenance and performance optimization
  • Tire retread program
  • Investing in automatic equipment and engines
  • Going paperless with ELDs and DVIRs
  • Monitoring driver performance and instilling speed limit policies
  • Reducing, reusing, recycling in our offices and facilities

Our drivers feel comfortable and safe on the road with our in-house inspection and maintenance team and roadside assistance.
