The Hap Transportation Group was established in 2006 as a single truck and trailer operation. Since then we have focused on delivering excellence on wheels to our customers. We are safety driven and we make sure all of our assets are inspected on a daily basis to ensure the on-time delivery is met.
We are an asset-based transportation company providing based with our head office in Delta, British Columbia providing container drayage, intermodal, warehousing, container storage, cross border, and line haul transportation services (Dry Van/Reefer/Heat).
Our fleet of 125 tractors and 365 trailers is equipped with live satellite tracking with visibility for our business partners to view the status of their shipment. Our fleet is 100% ELD mandate compliant.
The HAP transportation temperature-controlled division specializes in full truck load transportation from Vancouver to Across Canada/United States with the ability to handle temps from -35C to +22C. Our Reefer units are equipped with TrackKing programming which allows the dispatch and safety team to monitor the location, temperature, fault codes active in the trailer. The backend is also able to control the temperate of the trailer and share the temperature with our business partners.
Tandem axle Reefer Picture – Our tandem reefer primarily services the BC-CA-ON-BC, & BC-NY/NJ/PA lanes. It can load up to 45,000lbs (US), 48,500lbs(CAN).
Tri Axle Reefer Picture – Tri-axle heat is available between BC and Alberta for full truck loads. We can haul up to 59,000 lbs.
The Dry Van division consists of over 65 trailers servicing across Canada and the United States. The 53’ plated dry van trailers are 102” wide and can haul up to 49,000lbs (CAN), and 46,800lbs (US). The trailers are equipped with vertical E tracks at every 18 inches, which gives the driver more options to secure the load. The dry van division primarily services the I-5 from BC to California, BC-CA-AB-BC. And BC-ON-BC.
Drayage and Intermodal.
The largest division of the HAP Transportation Group is the container drayage and intermodal division which operates within the lower mainland of British Columbia and services Washington and Oregon. The HAP group has over 70 trucks which operate in the intermodal and drayage division.

THE CONTAINER TRANSPORTATION DIVISION OPERATES 24/7 WITH OVER 250 CHASSIS WHICH CAN HAUL A GROSS WEIGHT COMBINATION OF 63,500KG.
The Container storage facility was initially formed in 2014 during the Port of Vancouver container truckers strike to support the existing dry storage facilities and to help steamship lines ease their inventory pile up. Our facility is capable of handling loaded and empties regular and over dimension containers of any size. We can store up to 800 twenty-foot equivalent units at our facility.
Our container storage facility is EDI compatible with all marine shipping lines to match inventory and can accommodate up to 120 trucks per day 5 days per week. We can make weekend accommodations based on volumes. Our facility is 24/7 patrolled and is paved and secured.
Our 25,000 square foot distribution center in Delta B.C has 6 transload bays and is a CBSA approved sufferance facility to conduct examinations and move shipments in bond. The DC works closely with large importers to destuff containers and transload HAP linehaul trailers as a single provider to ensure the customers freight is delivered to the end customer with the same level of service.
